Firefox for Web Developers

(1/1)

mouser:
Just wanted to post a note from the perspective of a long time Internet Explorer (Netcaptor) user, on using firefox to help test a javascript web app.

Crono and I have been working on this World Cup Predictor (https://www.donationcoder.com/forum/index.php?board=192.0), and firefox has been a life saver in terms of being able to detect and locate javascript errors.

One of the things that is crystal clear is that a major focus in Firefox is providing support functions for web developers and testers.  It has made all the difference in the world.

Just a heads up for those people doing javascript/web development.  In general it's always good to have multiple browsers, but clearly for me i will do my web scripting using firefox as primary test environment.  Caveat: I have not tried opera for this.
