Does this mean I am a hax0r?

As said in the famous "hacker" video, "I dont consider myself a leet hax0r, but I do consider myself a hacker"

The comments of people who believed it was real are almost funnier than the article.

hahaha, what's worse is that some people would read through this and think it's real.

They have, and they do and it happens every day. This is almost a disturbing trend. Someone writes up something that is funny, satirical, etc. and 98% of the audience thinks it's real. The other two percent are split.
1% "gets it" and has a good laugh, next link please...
1% "gets it" and leaves a comment in the same vein of satire as the original, further adding to the fray.

An undeterminded percentage takes it hook line and sinker and says "OMG I didn't know that... I'd better alert my friends neighbors and relations and unplug the computer while I'm at it!!"
Another undetermined percentage sees it for the drivel it is but thinks the author is honestly a complete imbecile and leaves comments like "I can't believe what a dumb@$$ you are... " and attempts to correct the intelligence deficiencies perceived.
The last undetermined percentage sees it for the drivel it is but then moves on with a deprecated opinion of the social group the author of the satirical piece appears to represent.

Lets see here... lemme find a few:
http://www.blackpeopleloveus.com/
http://www.shelleytherepublican.com/
http://humorix.org/ (actually that one's pretty transparent, you must admit...)
http://landoverbaptist.org (careful, this one's a doozie...)

Got any to share?
On the bright side, sites like these have served to sharpen my BS detector quite handily.

i happen to LOVE these these humour pieces that are subtle in their humour.
the more subtle the better for me - i love how close they come to being real.

this "Is Your Son a Computer Hacker?" one is fantastic - not over the top, and written perfectly so that you could almost believe it.

(note: i also think it's not right to make fun of people who might mistake these things for real - not everyone is up on issues well enough to know whats real and what's fake.  maybe joke writing like this needs a special little spoiler button at bottom explaining the joke :))

I read that could not believe how dumb the guy was that wrote it. >:(
I have a AMD64 Althon so I must be a hacker?.

I have been on the net around 12 years now,I know a few programmers and a few hackers, and let me tell you if it was not for those teenage and older hackers we would not know of the "Swiss-Cheese" of a OS we have called Windows. It has more holes than Microsoft will ever admit.

By the way I am no hacker.
I am more of a "Seeker" I look for information on the net.

And i know allot of you maybe crazy about your P3's and P4's but I have had enough of P3's and P4's to last me a life time.
I am a AMD kind of guy, It allows me graphically to do what i want, without yelling (
Star Trek "Quote"
) Scotty, I need more Power.
I have plenty.

The guy that wrote that article, is just not accepting reality.
Too bad I can not contact him, I would tell him allot more.

Anyway I say what I think and what I believe, I will not lie to you, because If I am honest I have nothing to remember but the truth!.

The first time I read it I had much similar thoughts, Thunder 7, but after reading it again I realized it was all a big joke.
