Screen capture VLC full screen - each sequential file becomes the same as last

Ok so on an old WinXP machine, if capturing and saving with a new sequential named file. In other words, I use VLC to play a video and then cue up to the scene I want to capture and press Print screen but ALL the previous captures become the same as the last capture taken. Even if the previous individual file is moved to a different location. The file will change to the current capture.

This sounds very weird and like it's not Screenshot Captor's doing..
I'm not entirely sure what you are describing as happening.

Perhaps we can try to simplify and you could let me know what happens if you try to capture other windows besides VLC, but in same basic way.
