Just got a notification from Acronis - they have just released an update for version 9 which can burn backups directly to CD/DVD so you don't need to backup to hard disc and then burn using another product.

I haven't tired it yet (I am downloading the 75Mb installer at the moment) but I'm not holding my breath. If past experience is anything to go by it'll probably work properly after a few bumps of the build number (call me a cynic if you want).

The update is free to current version 9 users.

I love the acronis line of products, perhaps mouser or someone can get them to donate some copies. I'd love one, or even a discount. Acronis true image is a must have for any pc user. Reinstall your pc, get it the way you want,and then image it. Loads of time saved
