Make sure when you copy the key that you are not highlighting an empty digit before or after the key. That would transfer the blank digit into your paste the key in operation.

That may be the problem. I know I've done it on some codes.

The most common cause of this is that people download the free license key for the wrong program.
When you grab the license key from https://www.donation...r.com/Keys/index.php make sure you click the link for Screenshot Captor.
