Any support for search synonyms?
« on: October 07, 2013, 10:11 AM »
Just a quick question, is there a way to add a synonym for a search word?

For example, if I search for the word "apple" I would like to have it also search for the word "fruit".

are you talking about one of the word/definition plugins for FARR?

or are you talking about when you do file/application searching?

just a typical file/application search.

So if I'm searching for apple

I would see apple.txt and fruit.txt in my results.

If there is a plugin for this, that would be great, but looking over the options, I couldn't find any that did this.

There's no way to do it now, but i'll consider it -- it's a nice idea.
