I use "save image in folder" add-on for Firefox.

This one-
Performing a left double-click on an image directly saves it to the previously used folder.

And it has, as an option, auto incrementing file naming for duplicate names.
I doubt that the renaming feature is what you want.

I do like double clicking an image to save it fast.
