failed to initialize network adapter???

hello,

for some reason, i'm getting this message although i used urlsnooper many times before. i tried reinstalling it, but when i try to choose my network adapter (not the generic one), i keep getting the message "failed to initialize network adapter.....".

what could be the cause of this happening now but not at the beginning?

does it still happen after a reboot?
if so, try uninstalling winpcap and reinstalling it.
is it possible you installed another app which is currently running and has captured the winpcap driver?
