I remember seeing something like that waaaaaaaaaaay back in 2008 or so.  A computer that was powered by a phone that could be plugged into the back of a screen to turn into a tablet, which could be plugged into a keyboard to turn into a laptop. 

EDIT: This isn't the one I remember seeing, but it's from 2011, and the concept is a bit more refined.  I like how they make the tablet into a keyboard, and the phone into a touchpad:
