I tried seeing the eclipse today, I didn't manage to do that(see picture below). I was told that my sister in Olympia, WA. with around 90% totality and using double sunglasses could barely see it and that glass dark as a welder's goggle is needed to get pictures. I wish I had known that beforehand.
