Tesla introduces ticket-avoidance-mode for Model S. - YouTube

Ain't gonna work here since they don't need to put a ticket on the vehicle, they carry a camera to document everything and just send you the bill if necessary  ;)

You'd say 'no' to your Android phone, if only you could, study finds

This article came out only three days ago? Why is it talking about Android M (Marshmallow) in the future tense as if it's still upcoming? Marshmallow has been out for several months already with these permission options.

I don't think blizzard prep is silly humor, do you?  I wonder if anyone rented a snowmobile there before the blizzard?

You knew this was coming. :-\  It's not about excellence or achievement anymore. It's about "being 'fair' to all the kids" and  "taking turns" and "feeling good about yourself"

And we're supposed to be surprised when somebody like Palin is complaining about her son being "singled out" by the police just because he committed a violent crime.

No wonder we're doomed in the long run. :(

While the exploit also crashes FireFox and Google Chrome, it has Absolutely No Effect on either IE or the new MS Edge Browsers..

...I have no idea. I just thought it was to good an opportunity to pass up, so I tossed a copy of the exploit code on one of our intranet webservers and had a go at it. Industry whipping boy IE was the obvious first choice, with - arguably Beta - Edge being a close second. Neither of which even as much as blinked at the codes shenanigans. So since FF hadn't been mentioned in anything I'd read, I gave it a shot, and it froze/crashed instantly.

The resulting browser crashing link that the code produces is below (mangled just a bit so it doesn't go live here):

It looks like a fairly straightforward - lack of input validation - overflow exploit. I guess not everybody likes to learn from other peoples (MS/IE) mistakes.. *Shrug*

I thought this was a joke because the article says it happens on iOS and Mac, and I assumed IE and Edge were not on those OSes. :)

No it's a completely OS agnostic browser based attack that can/will take out the browser on any OS. It's just - hysterical IMO - that the (untouchable...) Apple crowd gets to enjoy a complete OS crash...instead of just a browser crash.

On Windows using FF I tried loading the malicious page from a private mode session, and it crashed both it and the non private mode instance of the browser at the same (instantaneous) time.

Grease - Alma Mater & Alma Mater Parody [Broadway 1972] - YouTube

Quote
Grease was a raunchy, raw, aggressive, vulgar show. Subsequent productions sanitized it and tamed it down. The show mentions social issues such as teenage pregnancy, peer pressure and gang violence; its themes include love, friendship, teenage rebellion, sexual exploration during adolescence, and to some extent, class consciousness/class conflict.
