Dear geeks,
I use Windows XP SP3 and I tried to remove Windows Media Player 11 in this way:
http://windows.micro...dia-player/11/readme

When I started the uninstallation of "Microsoft User-Mode Driver Framework Feature Pack 1.0" I read that such operation could compromise some programs. The list of programs at risk appeared and I realized that ALL the programs could be damaged, including many updates of Windows.
Is it possible?
What kind of monster is "Microsoft User-Mode Driver Framework Feature Pack 1.0"?

There are many sites on the net that have info on how to remove certain windows software components.  Just do a search on "How to remove Windows Media Player".

  Try DuckDuckGo:  https://duckduckgo.c...dows+Media+Player%22
