@Channing: i was hoping to use Listary's FAYT feature in mouser's Screenshot Captor. the thumbnail browser (see pic) on the left of the program can be viewed in list mode. since i normally have 200-300 images in there, it would be an ideal place to use Listary to find the files quickly.

Spoiler

Sorry that Listary can't support it at the moment.

Hi guys,

I just updated to the latest Listary version (portable).

However, it seems that the file and directory structure has changed: everything used to be inside a "x64" folder, now not anymore; settings file used to be called "Config.xml", now it seems to be "Preferences.json".

Thus, is there any way to update Listary and keep all my previous settings?

Thanks everyone already,
David.P

-didn't also the portable version ask if you want to import old settings? The installer does.

I also have win7 64.  I don't think it has been crashing on startup, but the latest version did have a couple of regular crashes recently.  But upon relaunching, it seems to work.  i don't know the cause.

Anyone know if Listary 4 has been fixed to work on non-admin accounts? I have been running 3.51 for the past four months due to this issue :(.

Listary 4.20 has a "Launch Applications" feature now.

Seems like FARR is redundant.  8)

Listary 4 is conflicting with something on my PC. With Listary installed the PC refuses to come out of hibernation after an undetermined amount of time. Uninstalling Listary causes the problem to disappear. Reinstalling Listary and it's back.

Unfortunately, I'm at a time in my life where I can't devote a lot of time to troubleshooting so I'll just have to live without Listary for now.

Or maybe revert to an older version that does work?  If any do?

That might be an option...if I still have any old installers around to screw around with. Going to school full-time while working full-time sorta, kinda cuts into how much free time has during a given week.

Thanks, a kind user sent me a link to the latest 3.x version & I'm going to use that as a starting point this weekend, hopefully. If that works I may get brave and ask you for one of those versions.
