there is a 80% discount for the game, Droplitz which is valid until August 28th. so the price is now $1.99, down from the normal price of $9.99. i haven't played this game before but the metacritic score shows a respectable 78/100.

I've played this on PS3. Awesome game! Highly recommended!

So, how is the game? I'm tempted to buy this with such a low price, but there are no demos at Steam, and the reviews aren't that helpful.

@Lashiec: i spent the whole afternoon playing Droplitz and my take is that it's easy to game to get involved but hard to master. as cthorpe mentions, the level of points needed to unlock new play modes is rather steep. but having said that, i'd say go get it since there's only two days left. :)

Being addictive and easy to learn but hard to master are the key points in all good puzzle games IMO, so I bought it this afternoon. I have played it a couple of times and it's kinda fun, perfect for that quick puzzle fix :). Thanks for your opinions on the game!
