(And, just for clarification, I don't totally agree with the article.  But it has a glimmer of truth, even if just partial and perceived- especially when it comes to the consumer market.)

In the photo you provide, Steve Ballmer appears to be making two Fibonacci ("Golden") spirals with his hands. I wonder if that has any more-than-coincidental meaning in terms of the Fibonnaci spiral made by hurricane Sandy lately? (Balmer's an Illummumino-something - right?)

And the earlier pic is just some dude waving his fingers/hands around in the air.

Mind you, I'd probably start waving my hands about like that - and a lot more strange things too - if I carried the enormous responsibility for keeping a behemoth like M$oft from running off the rails. And I suspect that I'd be well past the point where I was doing it for the money.
