Was that a standard Command Prompt window or a different command processor, like 4Dos and it's cousins? And with or w/o Administrator privileges?

Hm, that's indeed a bit of a pita to capture. Haven't got time to try several options atm, but likely later today I'll check, unless mouser chimes in with a video or tutorial :)

You can also use the MoveTo menu to delete (and move) items selected in the thumbnail panel.

App summed it up well:
The toolbar on the far right is for working with the image displayed in the main panel, not for working with images in the left panel.
