Remote Android Control Solution?

(1/2) > >>

Josh:
I am looking for a tool that I am sure exists, but I have yet to find. I want to be able to remotely control an android-based device (tablet, phone, etc). I want to be able to "view" the screen or to take full control. I would like to be able to control key aspects such as enabling or disabling things like data networks or GPS, turning on and off the front/rear camera, and doing other tasks from a central console.

Does anyone know if such a solution exists?

daddydave:
I used to use MyMobiler for Windows Mobile to "remote" into my Dell Axim, and it was awesome and I registered it (it was freeware then with a paid version). I see there is an Android version of it now. Does it look like it might meet your needs?

xtabber:
TeamViewer has an app called QuickSupport that supposedly does that, but at this time, it is only available for certain Samsung devices, and based on users reviews, still seems to be quite buggy.

Teamviewer says that they need cooperation from the manufacturers to make the program work on other devices.

Shades:
If memory serves me right I saw once a guy with a Samsung Galaxy SII remote control his PC using VNC.

Josh:
Yeah, I can remote control all of my desktop and laptop computers very easily with my droid, but I cannot perform the reverse very easily.
