So, like, in the following screenshot of a backup I've got running, the MiB means mega-bits, not mega-bytes, right?

In yr last picture I see no MiB yes i see it now MiB =megabytes.
1 mebibyte (MiB) = 1,024 KB = 1,024^2 B = 1,048,576 Bytes
The case of second character may indicate different things -
--- megabits written as Mb - the small case second character b indicates bits
--- megabytes written as MB - the big case second character B indcates Bytes
For data transfer speed(network) For storage For flash/RAM memory ?
Kb = kilobits KB = kilobytes ?
Mb = megabits MB = megabytes ?
Gb = gigabits GB = gigabytes ?
ofcourse many people mix up kB,Kb, and KB or mB, Mb, and MB. I maybe wrong -just saw this :
