Metadata search software

cyberdiva:
I'm sorry and a little surprised that File Locator Pro can't handle this kind of search.  You're probably right that it can't, but it might be worth asking their tech support.  I haven't had much contact with them, but I've been impressed with their responses the few times I've written.  You can find a link to a technical support form here:  http://www.mythicsoft.com/Page.aspx?type=gen&page=support.

Good luck.  I hope you find something that works for you.

I've been looking for similar needs.
You might take a look at Exiftool and ExiftoolGUI.

It is more for use with photo and camera metadata but can also access some document metadata. They also have an active forum that may be of help.

Another that may be of help is Benubird http://www.debenu.com/products/desktop/debenu-pdf-benubird/.
I haven't tried it yet but there have been some discussion/postings here in the forum regarding it.

Contro:
I'll try.
I was thinking about Paperport, Qiqqa, and all those programs related to scan works and asking for these parameters after scan or indexing documents.

Where are those keys ?

Contro:
Bingoooooooooooooooooooooo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Subject (Comments), Author, keywords, ....
All in one search from paperport
Many scanners have this soft.

Well.
I would like alternatives. Specially free and portable.
