iOS Developer Mulling Android Over App Rejection
« on: August 30, 2012, 09:43 PM »
Just saw an article in Wired about a guy who's app has been rejected several times, and he's now mulling over doing it for Android.

http://www.wired.com...m/2012/08/drone-app/

Begley is about at his wits end over the iOS version of Drones+. “I’m kind of back at the drawing board about what exactly I’m supposed to do,” Begley said. The basic idea was to see if he could get App Store denizens a bit more interested in the U.S.’ secretive, robotic wars, with information on those wars popping up on their phones the same way an Instagram comment or retweet might. Instead, Begley’s thinking about whether he’d have a better shot making the same point in the Android Market.

The whole walled garden thing is just painful.

Which sage is that? Timothy Leary? ;D

I kind of wonder what the rejection levels are for Google Play...

I know that Samsung Apps will have a relatively high rejection rate, and they're pretty clear about it up front. But Samsung Apps isn't THE exclusive way to get software onto your device. BTW - They're giving away $4 million in prize money for their next app challenge.
