AutoScroll and Beyond Screen images.
« on: April 02, 2006, 01:45 PM »
I cannot use yet the Autoscroll tool.

Need some help for this issue.

1. How do I get a screenshot of a Web Site that the index is bigger than the size of the screen?

2. Does it works with different softwares such as excel?

Thanks.

I don't know if it works with exel, since i don't have it, i can't test it.
But it does work with a few browsers.
The autoscroll is used with the "red box capture", also known as "capture windows object".
There are two ways to use it.
You can right-click the icon on the tray and select "capture windows object" from the menu, and the redbox appear, then you put the mouse over the window to capture and press ctrl+shift+click to capture with auto-scroll.
The other method is using the hotkeys. If you haven't changed them, the default hotkey for capture windows object is ctrl+shift+printscreen. You press it, then the the redbox appears, and you follow the same procedure described before ;)

Although, this doesn't work with all programs. The best way really is for you to try it.
It's been tested successfully with opera and internet explorer. I believe it also works with firefox.
