Introduction

I maintain a few blogs on the net - and I needed a way to manage them all - in one application. I got tired of going to each administration area of each blog to post on them. I then came across the perfect tool for me! w.Bloggar is a FREEWARE blog-posting application and it is so polished and feature-packed I simply cannot believe I didn't pay a penny for it.

As you can see, you can very easily switch between blogs using a drop-down menu. Passwords can be saved in the app, so it offers speed-of-posting, as well as great functionality.

And, of course, the "one click publishing" feature - simply perfect!

The amount of blog-software w.Bloggar supports is staggering. Here's the full list: http://wbloggar.com/faq.php#243

You can add templates, SPELL CHECKER!, and even post to many blogs at one time.

Simply put - I am in blogging heaven!

Please, if you own a blog, try this out. If you don't own a blog, get one and try this out! (PM me if you want webspace)

And finally, my blog address ;)

Tried this out a little bit now and really quite like it. If you use one of the Blog sites it supports then it is well worth a look.

One very nice feature is that you can set up your ftp upload site within the program to automatically upload images etc. to includin your blog. I bought a copy of Ecto a while back but that doesn't seem to support that (though it does support Drupal which w.Bloggar doesn't).

My w.Bloggar supports Drupal  ;) 4.00? It's in the add account section.. maybe the site isn't updated?

Oops - don't know how I didn't notice that (I think the website is out of date so I didn't look).

Now that feels easier to use than Ecto!

Brilliant.

Why this is so lowly rated is beyond me. I use it and love it. It works perfectly with Blogger.

I use this application myself...and love it!

I am trying to get my daughter to try it. It would make posting to her many LiveJournal accounts much easier on her.

I discovered a plugin for it that will add the song you are currently listening to, to a post automatically. This is a per blog setting, so if you want it on one of your blogs but not another, this is easy to do.

There are a few versions available...

Windows Media Player & iTunes
WinAmp 2 & 5
WinAmp 3
