European Football Championship / Euro 2012 Day two, had to post this goal from yesterday, could well be the goal of the championship. [edit] turns out UEFA is blocking all content on youtube - dont know how long this one will last - the goal I was talking about is at 4:08. It's the fourth (and last) Russian goal. (Formatting is unfortunately a bit wonky - compressed widthwise & top/bottom cropped.) and here's another option if that one doesnt work http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3RcOIVceeg[/edit]
Quality isnt that great in spite of 1080 HD - watch it full screen anyway

worth watching till 0:51 for the arial view

-yeah, but I didn't enjoy the outcome! :-( (Denmark: 2 - Portugal: 3) And on top of losing such an important match, we still have no summer in Denmark. Apparently this is a 404 error:

Just because Denmark lost against Portugal the Dutch team still has a chance...if they win with two or more goals difference from Portugal and Germany wins from Denmark. Oh, how the "mighty" have fallen.... (First, I am Dutch and yes, I hate soccer...but I hate the talk about the losing Dutch team in countries all over the world even more)

Game today (Spain & Portugal) was a bit disappointing; went to penalties. Penalties always reminds me a bit of Russian Roulette. I know there's skill involved with penalties, & it's really tense and exciting in it's own way, but I'd much prefer to see a goal during the game. At least Italy won with penalties after having dominated the game. Germany vs. Italy tomorrow could be the two best teams. Hopefully it's a good game :-) with a few bleeding goals during the game please :p

Precisely the reason I am against penalty shootout. It is not really indicative of the game itself. There should be a way to find a winner that is more a reflection of the game itself (Eventhough it is the 'winners' fault for not finding a way to win in 90 or 120 minutes)
As for tomorrow:
