The dog sniffed the dead fish (touching his nose to the fish) which was so putrescently odiferous that he was trying to scrub his nose clean on the wet pavement.

i don't think that's even a remotely plausible description of the dog's behavior.

A more reasonable alternative explanation for the behavior that many on the youtube thread are suggesting, is that the dog is trying to "bury" the fish, the way dogs bury other kinds of food (videos available on youtube).

^at least one of the fish was still alive, and they were presumably caught at the same time - which would rule out the bad smell theory :-)

Agree.

I had a dog that would sometimes try to "bury" his food dish with his nose. He'd drag his nose across the linoleum floor so firmly it would squeak when he did. After several tries with the uncooperative floor, he'd eventually give up and just finish what was in his dish.

Most likely the camera is behind the face shield of a 3/4 style helmet that is deforming in the wind as the person wearing it turns their head. If you watch carefully there are several (some rather subtle) odd distortions in the video visible any time they look to the side.

Beyond Scottish, I wasn't sure where exactly it was - I'll stick by my 'lovely' classification though - no matter what people think :p
I like a good strong characterful accent (there's lots of them in England too).

Loyal Dog Goes 15 Days without Food Guarding His Teenage Master’s Grave

Bhaskar was a construction worker who loved dogs dearly – he had adopted Tommy five years ago and the pair of them quickly became inseparable. When Bhaskar became victim to a terrible road collision, Tommy was heartbroken. The dog simply refused to part with his master and mourned by his graveside for 15 days.

Eisleigh is only ten months old, and already has a best friend.  Clyde, a pit bull puppy, born just weeks after Eisleigh, has taken to her as if she were a litter mate.  This video, originally posted to Instagram by Eisleigh’s mother, has got to be one of the cutest videos ever.  Watch as Clyde carefully makes his way into Eisleigh’s bouncer, and snuggle up to her so sweetly.  Her reaction is simply adorable.

Realizing just how darn cute this was, Brandi Hodges shared this video amongst friends, but wasn’t exactly prepared for what was going to happen with it.  They thought it was so cute the video made all over Instagram, a popular social networking site.  Eisleigh and Clyde became international superstars almost instantly.

As of yesterday, the 28th of July, the video has been watched by thousands, with 3,700 likes, and 1,700 comments.  That’s Instagram alone.  When Brandi posted the video to YouTube, it got over 1.3 million views.

According to Brandi, Eisleigh and Clyde really are the best of friends.  They spend almost all of their time together, and their favorite thing to do is take naps.  Check out this adorable video.

Hello, thanks for all the "likes", shares and comments! You have questions? here are some answers.  Didga [CAT] is a girl, I adopted her from a shelter. I'm a dog trainer, without my own dog, but she grew up with dogs, (all dogs are clients dogs or just dogs on the beach) she is at the ocean/river a lot, she does lot's of tricks and "dog like" behaviours, including rides on my stand up paddle board and swims from time to time. Yes, She's the famous skateboarding cat (2.6 mil views, look for video), I use a GoPro Camera & 'final cut' editing software. More Q? Cheers, Robert & Didga
