Nothing about these two videos makes sense.

First video: Why would you just stand there and film your kid drown, saying "Goat in the water!" instead of going in after him yourself?

Second video: It's Comedy Central. Lots of things he says are silly and obviously not true (or not meant to be taken seriously). Such as the death penalty part for breaking the NDA.

Personally, I don't trust either video.

I spent this morning digging a trench in our front yard to lay bricks.
A bird came by and was really excited about all the worms we were digging up.
He had like 3 in his mouth and was bouncing around.
Then he came over to me and gave me one of his worms!
He was like "THANKS FOR ALL THE WORMS HERE HAVE ONE KTHX BYE".

So I went back out today (next day), to finish up the digging.
My little bird friend was back!

This time he came over to me with a beak full of worms and tried a different approach -- i think he was trying to teach me how to get my own worms.  He would drop a worm near me and then pick it right back up.
I think we was saying: hey big dumb creature, you are doing a great job of digging up worms but you don't seem to know what to do next.

Do you have any capability to take video?  That would be fun to see.

The european robin will hang out if you're doing any gardening or pretty much up to anything outside. I've fond memories of messing around in the garden as a kid while my dad did the serious gardening and a robin hanging out nearby with it's head cocked waiting for a worm to appear.
But I've never seen or heard of one trying to teach someone how to catch a worm :-*

And where is Cody while this dialogue proceeds? Sulking?

My GF has a brown-headed cowbird that recognizes and hangs with her any time she's messing with the garden, running the lawnmower, or doing stuff outside that stirs up bugs. It will even stand right next to her digging hand (she's actually had to gently shoo it aside or shrug it off her shoulder a few times) when she's weeding or planting in the two raised-beds we have out in back.

Now that it's figured out she lives inside the house, it goes to the den window and pecks and chatters until she comes out if it thinks she's been absent for too long.

They look like this in case anybody isn't familiar with the species:

When I was very young I remember seeing a dog who had wheels instead of rear legs, and I cried because I felt bad for the dog.  But that was misguided.

The amazing thing about animals is that they don't feel bad for themselves or need our pitty -- they take it in stride and just get on with enjoying life.

This warmed my heart:

Although.. come on lady, sticks are free, it wouldn't hurt for you to have more than one.

But then it wouldn't be a game!

Our dogs would chase a ball (and each other) around for hours. But of you give each of them a ball they'd either stop playing, or decide among themselves which was the "play" ball and ignore the rest. ;)

Dogs get games. 8)

Every night for the past three years, a junkyard dog in Brazil has made an eight-mile journey along dark and dangerous roads so she can retrieve a bag of food for her friends – another dog, a cat, and several chickens.  At first she left home to feed her puppies, but now she still makes the journey so she can feed her friends.

Bizzare world where animals are bigger humans than most of beings that call themselves that but are (most of them) just monkeys with big brains.

This is almost the best post ever. Anyone can post vids/pics of cats being funny for 45 seconds. Here we have a dog going at least four and maybe eight miles each way just to feed four more animal friends. That ... just ... rules.

This one doesnt really qualify as a friends one, but it is one animal rescuing another - (and I dont see how they could have faked this one...)

In the city of Phetchaburi in Thailand, a dog discovered the fish out of the water and unconscious on the pavement. It will try not to let them die by spraying water with its snout. Besides the fish are few puddles. The dog will then sprinkle the fish, as if he wished they would not die. Touching!

Holy cow that dog+fish video blew my mind.  Amazing.  That has to be one of the most remarkable videos in this long thread.
What an incredible dog.

And I can't help but notice the humans are laughing in the background while the dog seems genuinely concerned and troubled.

Occam's Razor:

The dog sniffed the dead fish (touching his nose to the fish) which was so putrescently odiferous that he was trying to scrub his nose clean on the wet pavement.
