Well, I've got a few here. I don't visit all of them all the time, but some have some mind-blowing information. I'm leaving out a lot, but these are the sites that I probably visit most and that are probably of broader interest to people -- mostly those that are interested in what is going on in the world. I could post a bunch more, but this is enough. I'm skipping most of the programming stuff because most people here already use the same sites and know them well. My ratings are all from extensive use of the sites. | News | Info Wars | Excellent site dedicated to news on what is actually happening in the world. | 5 | | News | Activist Post | Excellent site with news across the spectrum. Includes many editorials. Setup as a blog. | 5 | | News | Russia Today | One of the best news sites out there. Regularly exposes the complete insanity that has infected the West. RT broadcasts "The World Tomorrow" with Julian Assange. You can view the show at the RT site. Television programs often feature some extremely knowledgeable guests. Some fairly regular guests include Gerald Celente and Alex Jones. Max Keiser does a segment on RT. Adam Kokesh used to have a regular show on RT. | 5 | | News | Adam vs. The Man | Adam Kokesh is ex-US military and runs a libertarian news show/blog/podcast. Windows7 OS http://www.sevenforums.com/Forum for Windows7 related topics including subforums for networking, software, customization, hardware etc.. Also has a great Tutorials section. Many of the topics have downloads with .reg files if the fix or adjustment requires a registry tweak. Tutorials are broken down into categories. Some examples: how to do a clean install when upgrading, clearing Explorer icon cache How to legally install Windows Seven from an iso image using no product key for an evaluation period etc.. As far as the legal issues go, there are many MS MVPs hanging on the forum. If a tutorial says it's legal to install Windows or extend the evaluation period in such and such a circumstance, and the tutorial has been up for any length of time, you can be sure it would have been taken down if there was anything dicey. Not a site that leads you into dubious territory. In short it's the only Windows7 specific site that I visit. My main gripe about the site is the search tends to search everything even if you are already in the Tutorials section when you initiate the search. To limit the search to Tutorials you need to use Advanced Search and manually remove everything else from the list of forums to search. A minor quibble. But I wish they'd fix it. |

Not sure if this thread can survive if everyone just shared their favorite websites. Plenty of people here uses bookmark organizers (not me). It may be something that only the future version of tfdocs can present the full list in a readable manner without having to mass scroll or mass click through pages. Plus some are NSFW but not real NSFW or real porn. (example the Joe Rogan podcast below) (Teacher's Unions? Not sure) http://www.city-journal.org/ - Like the Atlantic, I don't know the reputation of the website but it's one of the top websites I tend to get when googling for education and like the Atlantic, there's something that keeps me hooked to the site. (General/Documentary?) http://fora.tv/ - It was between this and Ted when I first started out. As I'm not able to follow many videocasts/podcasts, I settled on Ted but slowly opted for this site because of the sheer content. (Podcast/Soap Box?) http://www.joerogan.net/ - aka the Joe Rogan Experience. It's a mainstream podcast especially for mma fans but since I don't know every entertainment based podcast out there, I pretty much stick with this since it deals consistently with random shit that can go into politics and then go into some social thing like fleshlight (masturbation tool), environmentalism, weed. Basically if you want to experience weed without smoking weed or if you liked shows like the Man Show and can tolerate all the shouting and just want a podcast that on some random days you're bored and will click to because you're bored but curious but expecting to be bored but then go Holy **** what am I listening to?! It's a good consistent podcast. Even a sucky episode would contain into WTF things. Can't be categorized as WTF though because the entertainers treat the subjects in a semi-serious manner. For a quick preview of what to expect, either check the latest podcast (the first sentence alone would blow most decent minded non-wild/liberally minded teen) or just imagine this stand-up is a sentence in a podcast: I'm not so much into ratings. They're pretty but if it doesn't contain at least something like this: ...it's going to be too useless and full of 4-5 star (because who would want a 1 star site as their favorite site?) and even in terms of usefulness, it's more for entertainment. mouser should definitely add that table as a template though. Those dragonball stars are ****ing awesome and looks professional as hell for a bunch of images added on top of a table. P.S. I was in BlockBuster back in the day when I still rented VHS tapes. I saw the cover of this lousy Hong Kong Jackie Chan flick called GorgeousThe movie was very annoying. But the actress was so hot I had to find more of her flicks. But there are still some pics on the site where the actress displays the merchandise. If you are offended by seeing stunning women naked then I recommend not visiting the Multimedia page on the site. She can pretty much phone it in however she likes since she's still hot. But I see the end of an era on the horizon. If you are not into Hong Kong flicks I think the movies she made in the 90s still work. She was hot, cute and you could see the acting potential. Mid to late 90's may be a good place to start. Many of the DVDs were only letterboxed. But towards the end of the 90s they started to catch onto anamorphic 16x9. If you liked any of the Charly's Angels movies I recommend Martial Angels and So Close. Wire fu only more fun, hotter babes, and done better than Drew Barrymore. |

Albeit a "chick flick" but that's where they tend to stick the hottest babes. Otherwise they kill them off early to cut down on payroll. I also liked Iron Sister. Many of her Hong Kong flicks weren't distributed here. You can still find some at DDDHouse.com. If you don't have a "region free" player look on videohelp.com. Many of the major players like Phillips allow you to set the region code to 0 using the remote if you know the sequence. So far I've purchased 3 different model Phillips DVD players and I was able to set them all to 0 using the remote hack from videohelp.com's list. |

I just watched an old film of her's last night. I don't think I ever watched it all the way through before. The title was For Bad Boys OnlyWow!! I didn't realize hot chicks had such bad luck. She plays an Olympic runner who ends up in a wheel chair, a super hot hair dresser daughter of the Olympic runner who gets half her face burned off(but of course her boyfriend still loves her) and a genetic clone( well, she plays 11 of them.. the 10 rejects and the one that worked(#11) ). Ekin Chen plays some detective who finds first loves of rich guys that regret not marrying them(can you really make a living doing that?) Really strange stuff!! But that's the "charm" of old HK flicks. |
