DONE: Winamp plugin switch helper / fixed with even better solution!

(1/2) > >>

Hi,

I posted on http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=242649 too:

I wonder if it's somehow possible to switch from one DSP plugin to another (or even just disabling one) without having to click through Winamp's config every time, maybe by writing a script to do that?

Any kind of advice is appreciated!

So if you have ANY idea please tell me. :) I guess one could come up with an AutoHotkey based solution for this, but maybe it's even easier.

 :) I found this line in WinAmp.ini

dspplugin_name=
--- End quote ---

so I guess a simple AutoHotkey

--- ---IniWrite,path to the dsp,C:\Program Files\WinAmp\WinAmp.ini,Winamp,dspplugin_name
should work. But you probably have to reload WinAmp, so it's not ideal, unless there's some other way of forcing an ini reload.

Thanks, great find!

Do a search on Google  for MuchFX. It's a great Plugin for Winamp which even allows for stacking of DSP plugins. I've been using it for a long time without problems...

Cool, thanks! http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=90732 is the URL - I just wish it would look as good as it works... One can't hide it completely while it's running, right? Just minimizing?
