hello!
in a pc, I run WinXP and I have a network printer available
I want to create another instance of that printer, but with a specific tray chosen as default
how can I do this?
I try to add the printer, but I cant go through the process, WinXP offers to find it, but it founds nothing, or maybe I dont search correctly
any hint?
thanks

Yeah, I'd like to know how to do this too. Tried a few times, struck out.

Add printer wizard Local Printer (uncheck auto-detect & install) Create new port with it's IP Address, or select the one it already uses Point it at the correct driver next, next, next... done.
Printer properties, General Tab -> Preferences Button Paper/Quality Set type to what you want it to use Load media in a preselected tray, and set that tray to the type selected.
