I need to see big preview icons of pdf files in the "open"/"save as" winxp dialog box

is there a way to do this?

I have installed PDF-XChange in my XP, but how do I enable this shell extension?

i'm not sure how to activate it since i use the portable version. but here is an excerpt from their webpage, which might explain things..

The download file contains two installation files – one for the viewer itself and one for the Shell Extension for viewing thumbnails in Windows Explorer. Installation of this extension is optional, but you might miss if you don’t know it is there.
