customize outlook context menus
« on: February 17, 2012, 08:00 AM »
hello!

I am looking to customize the context menu of an email entry in inbox view of Outlook

I want to have direct entries in the right-click/context menu, like these:

- move to archive
- forward to [email protected]
etc

any program or add-on?

thanks!

what version of Outlook?

------------------------------

I no longer have Outlook installed, so I cannot be specific. But you can get (purchase) all sorts of addons if you search Microsoft Office´s online market.

Hmm... Sorry, but then I must say you can not "purchase all sorts of addons" any more; it is almost a decade too late because of the big differences between Office 2003 and 2007. If you look at http://office.micros...416963#last=;Index=0  you will see that they all say "applies to Outlook 2007 and 2010", not "2003".

Try to search http://www.mapilab.com/outlook/all.html

Don't know much abt Outlook, but have added many things to Word and Excel context menus.

Word has an easy way to do this, Excel doesn't.  But in Excel you can change any context menu selection by using VBA.

I'm thinking you can change an Outlook context menu with VBA.
