got it -- normally that trim thing will automatically detect that there was no horizontal content -- but something small on the screen probably changes when it tries to horizontally scroll.. explaining the problem.

A new version is up at the link in the first post -- nothing new since previous release just bug fixes.
I'd really like to release the new version publicly this weekend so I would appreciate any help you can give me finding lingering bugs.

Do you intend to update the installer to offer the option of running ScreenShot Captor, after installing/updating, on Windows Vista and Windows 7? (Like we talked about in irc) Would be Really Nice To Have (r)

yeah i don't know yet; it's a convenience but i really worry about running it under wrong user level (running as admin when shouldnt or vice versa).

Not many users start their installers using 'Run As Administrator' these days, and those who do, probably know what they are doing anyway.
Inno Setup triggers the UAC permission dialog at the expected/right moment, unless ofcourse UAC is turned off :o
I guess 95% of current Inno Setup scripts that has an executable that can be run right after installation, offers the option to do that.

(I'll again admit I'm an Inno Setup addict/fan/advocate/12+ year user, but have no other bindings to it than that, and I like installers to be done 'just right')
