And one more feature request: set window size and position
« on: January 25, 2012, 01:46 PM »
While I'm at it, it would be cool if you could set the window size and position for the Command nodes so they always launch where you want them.

Thanks again for a great program!

Yeah, probably could have been a bit more clear - what I'm asking for is a way to set the window size and position for the programs launched by Command type nodes so that when you launch a program from a Command node, it opens exactly where you want it, with exactly the size you want it.

For example, lets say you have a LaunchBar Dock with a Command node to launch a shortcut to a particular website, and another one to launch a different website.  It would be cool if you could set each one to have a specific window size and position so that you could make them open side by side, or one on one monitor and the other on a different monitor.

Make sense?

It makes sense -- what i wonder though is if there is a standalone comandline tool that could be used for this -- so that you can invoke that and tell it to invoke another app..

Could be - I haven't looked for another tool to do it.  I just noticed that Windows 7 stopped remembering separate positions for Explorer shortcuts with different names and wondered if LBC could help somehow.
