Thanks!

Bummer. It won't let me buy the apps which are incompatible with my device. That's kind of smart, but I do plan on one day having a device that can run these apps and I'd like to buy them now while they're on sale.

Anyone know of a workaround so I can buy the apps I want?

  • Find someone with a sufficiently capable Android device
  • Switch his/her device to your Google account, connected to your phone
  • Download, install and buy (in the appropriate order :))
  • Uninstall the app, and switch the device back to the original Google account

It's a hassle, don't know what the side-effects are (haven't tried :tellme:) but it can be done.

Another option might be to download the Android SDK and buy the apps with an emulated device.  I'm not 100% sure it'll work (and it's a big download), but it doesn't cost anything except your time to try.
