NASA / Hubble: comparison images of galaxies?

(1/2) > >>

brotherS:
Hi,

I once visited a web site which displayed/compared different kind of 'views' on the same galaxy:
- gamma radiation (only grey and black... not much to see here = boring)
- visible light (a little bit better but... still more or less boring)
- electro-magnetic combined with something else (awesome colors = WOW!!*)

*picture something like this Antennae Galaxies image:

Now I can't find that site anymore...  :(

Who knows where to find something like that?

Ath:
This one? http://www.spitzer.caltech.edu/images

And there's this beautiful pack of background images for Windows: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/downloads/nasa-hidden-universe-theme

Ath:
And there's even a second Windows (7) theme: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/downloads/nasa-spacescapes-theme

brotherS:
Thanks for the links! http://www.spitzer.caltech.edu/images has some good images, I just can't find comparison images there?

I hadn't especially searched for that feature :-[ there are quite a few nasa.gov sites/pages that host images like that, I'd guessed there would be the comparison pages too, but I'm not sure where to find them :(
