Software to obtain information about program installed
I would like to know about a complete soft to know about installed applications in windows xp. Date, path to installation folder, installed by, etc.
Best Regards
:)
Ath:
You could just read the registry (HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\UnInstall\*, and insert Wow6432Node between Software and Microsoft too to get the 32 bit stuff on x64 Windows), be sure to enable 64 bit mode on 64 bit Windows tough.
If you want a nicely predefined view, get one of several SysInfo tools.
Shades:
The 'Revo Uninstall' software (free for personal use, portable) does show you a list of installed programs, their install date, where these apps are installed (in context menu) and registry key (also in context menu).
A tool like 'SIW' (free for personal use, portable) also shows you installed software (and hardware for that matter). This one can generate reports about what it finds if memory serves me right.
Contro:
I am going to see your ath's collection
Best Regards
