I am not a mathematician, but I am blown away by the features' possibilities, of CDF.

First watch this short 74-seconds intro video: http://www.wolfram.c...df_intro/index2.html

and maybe then this "full" 19½-minutes video explanation: http://www.wolfram.c...asts/announcing_cdf/

Get a free CDF player: http://www.wolfram.com/cdf-player/
The player is at version 8, so all this is apparently not as new as I first imagined.

Watched the videos.  Very interesting.  Wonder what the chances are that this will become mainstream?
