-my mistake; the original pic was too wide, I thought, so I re-arranged it, but didn't bother to re-set the transparent color:

If you look at the site, it inspires even less confidence... It's horrible.

However, if you actually look at the fonts, they're nice.

There's a PDF with them.

Still mulling over whether to buy or not... They have some very nice fonts... Lots of styles. For $70? Not bad at all.

AFAIK, you get about 3 sets of fonts derived from a standard set; and additional outlined one, one with shadows, etc.....
Typology enthusiasts certainly tend to not appreciate softmaker, the company offering this set.

Just tried those "20 typefaces for free". None of them supports anything else than Latin-1 character set. If this applies to the whole set, it's for many languages of no use even for free. Also, these are only TTF/PS fonts, thus lacking all those typographic features nowadays quite common on really professional typefaces in OTF (ligatures, swashes, titling alternates, etc.).

Sadly, over 95% of typefaces support little more than latin-1. The fanciest stuff you'll find on most are all the accents, and if you are lucky you'll run into the few specialty characters such as Æ, ẟ or some of the other cuties listed in the list of Latin characters. Nevermind arabic and other non-latin scripts. :(
