And for those that don't want to install Chrome first, and have a modern browser with javascript enabled and have flash installed (IE9/FF4/Safari5) there's http://chrome.angrybirds.com/
(IE8/FF3.6 are dead-slow when I last tried, Opera 11.11 choked on the site)

Looks like that "extension" or "Chrome App" or whatever it's called is essentially just a shortcut to http://chrome.angrybirds.com/ so there's no benefit to installing it over having a shortcut.

I suspect it's free because it'll be ad supported. Rovio say they make much more money from the ad supported Android version than the paid for iPhone one.

Personally, from playing the Andoird game quite a bit, I don't find the ads intrusive at all.
