Ok so don't laugh but as an experiment i've made up an end-of-day "after action" report form to try filling out at the end of each day.

I am curious as to whether filling these out might help me focus on making each day a more memorable and discrete event.. Rather than having days flow into one another ever more rapidly.

Honestly it's a bit silly even for me, but I thought I'd give it a try.

I also have no idea what to put on this thing so I just made up stuff.. If anyone wants to try the experiment along with me I'm attaching a current pdf of it suitable for printing.  But even better would be if anyone else wants to make up their own forms and share, or suggest additional items to add to the page.

Note that the goal is a printable single sheet that is to be filled out at the end of each day.

This makes me wonder about a web/desktop version which let you assemble a collection of form widgets to make your own daily report form, which recorded values in a little database for you, with interactive graphic stats.

some questions to ask for feeling good about the day,

Did I help anyone today.
Did I make anyone feel good about something.
Didn't I have a good conversation without someone.

Like more simply.
Help.
Feel good.
Good conversation.
Doing it right as possible.
Didn't quit.

I like this, mouser.  I've downloaded it and will give it a spin.  Would be nice to have an online version, as you've suggested.

This isn't silly.

Great people have a habit of "reporting in" after completing a day/task. Benjamin Franklin details in his autobiography the method he used at the end of the day to "report" on his daily performance.
