For a free book, one should not complain...but I don't know if it is just me, the layout from the book is either done by a 12-year-old who's hobby is puzzles or something.  :-\

Clear and concise it isn't, because of that I didn't get too far so I could have missed out on some real "treasures".

I agree with Shades the layout is dreadful but as he says it's free.  I gave up on reading it online, maybe if I printed it I could learn from it but I don't want to print unnecessarily.  Thanks to Curt for the posting and of course to the author Mike Halsey’s for giving it away for free..

I'm guessing if you open it expecting to read a book, the layout could be a bit busy/jarring/horrifying. But for beginners (I'm thinking Dr. Seuss here), keeping the text into small un-intimidating blocks does kind of make sense.

It's certainly a good list of all the various features available in Windows 7 - Which can be a tad hard to keep track of at times.

It's not bad. I'm thinking of passing the link out to a few of my more 'consumer-level gearhead' clients. Might cut down on some of the more mundane configuration support calls.

@Curt - thanks once again for finding and sharing.  :

Thanks for the link. And while on the subject of free Win7 resources, you may want to also take a look at:

The TweakGuides Tweaking Companion

Good stuff that.
