Not quite as straight-to-the-point as goingtorain.com. I had to type in my zip code, then select from a bunch of nearby locations. It was actually slightly confusing.

GoingToRain requires a zip also, but I already had it saved (long time ago). Next time you visit it jumps to the point. I saved DINAJ now too.

I was talking to a friend of mine that lives in Alabama the other day...told him I heard on the news there was grapefruit sized hail down there. He said it was more like bowling balls.

When I first moved to Ohio, the sirens would be turned on for any storms.
People ignored them.
Till some Southerner got their ear.

In the south, the sirens mean get inside and take cover-
Tornado is on the ground or good possibility of forming.
Very seriously watched and listened to warnings.

Even the straight wind storms can be deadly.
One blew a freight train off it's tracks.
