I joined exactly two years ago, 25'th October 2006, so my status is shown with two boxes. Deozaan joined 2 yrs 9 months ago, which is rounded up to 3 boxes. No four boxes can yet be found, but if I understood the principle, they will show up within a month?? The five-box people are moderators.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

All kidding aside, I'm pretty sure it has more to do with "status". It goes something like this: One-boxers are people who haven't donated. Two-boxers are people who have donated. Three-boxers are people who donated during the Charter Member periods (early times of DC) or are honorary members. Not sure about Four-boxers. Five-boxers are moderators and admins and mouserers.

Deozaan is correct.
One box = non donating member;
Two boxes = donating/honorary member who joined after march 2006 (see here for more info);
Three boxes = donating/honorary member who joined before march 2006
There's noone I know that has 4 boxes;
5 Boxes are for moderators and our fearless spiritual leader :)

Curt - you could become a moderator! You'd leap from 2 to 5 boxes and across the colour spectrum in a single, mightly bound!

:o a Suoer Super Curt  ;)

Yes! Caped and sporting natty blue and yellow lycra super-hero clothing he swoops in to save the day... We're on to something here, Grorgy. Let's flesh it out and approach Marvel Comics or DC.

- someone's experience would surely point out that I usually am the one to be moderated, rather than the one to moderate...

I am really chocked that I never will get this third box!!!

- but TODAY I will celebrate my two yrs DC-day!  :D

- you don't post too often, yksyks, but I like it when you do :-)

-------

It can be such a problem with people like Darwin. A few days ago I told myself to watch out for his post number 5,000, but then I left the room. When I came back he was already way over the hill, and far out in the horizon!!! [any accidental pun not too attempted]

A belated congratulations, Darwin, on your post number 5,000:Thmbsup:

Thanks guys! I missed it myself. As Curt said, I got on a bit of a run (verbal diar... you get the picture and the accidental bad pun  :o) and didn't realise I'd hit 5000 and gone...

Congratulations, yksyks  :Thmbsup: Nice recursion  :)
