Curt:
I have used Q-Dir file manager for several years, but have never taken the opportunity to test any of the other small programs on the site, because I thought they all were plugins for Q-Dir. Now I have come to realize that several are stand-alone programs, so of course I started testing right away. One of them turned out to be The Fastest font viewer I can think of. No fancy features; it is not a manager or an editor, just a freeware font viewer: http://www.softwareok.com/?seite=Freeware/FontViewOK

Features:
Quick overview of all fonts.
Printing with print preview function
Changeable font size, style and color
Instant access to the Windows Fonts folder, to delete the fonts which you donĀ“t need any longer.
New Feature: List fonts from a specific folder, for a quick review of the Fonts without installation, or if required a quick installation via right-click.

Suitable for Microsoft Windows :
Servers 2000/2003/2005 Win 98/XP/Vista and Windows-7 x64/x86

That's very nice to view fonts with. It's generally miserable to do. Good find!

Renegade:
Doesn't seem to work on non-installed fonts though. Or maybe my folder was too large. I bought a set of 4000 fonts and have them in a folder. (No desire to install them all.)

There's a button to select the folder (From Folder).  I copied one of my fonts to a different folder, selected that one with the  button, and only that font was displayed.

But it was an installed font (I don't have any uninstalled ones), so I don't know if that will make a difference.

AndyM:
Nice Curt, thanks!!
