Circle Dock disappears on start up
Ath:
just would rather is stayed on the screen when rebooted after being off for a while so that would not have to be done each time.

That's something of your Windows configuration. Are you in a company environment where the installed applications, desktop, screensaver, etc. is strictly and unchangeably configured by your "friends" the sysadmins, you love to hate, and other annoyances enforced?
rstubbs:
Nope, home based computer and I am admin.
Ath:
Hm, some overzealous AV package trying to keep your computer free from experiments?
Is your XP of the vanilla 32 bit taste, or is it the rare 64 bit stuff (you mentioned the AMD64 bit), might be there's something itchy with x64 issues of Windows XP, but I can't tell... :-[
rstubbs:
Well, I am not a techie so.....the AMD 64 is off a sticker that is on the front of the Pavillion Tower.......also, not sure if maybe a security program issue but kind of doubt that....
Just checked and confirmed AMD anthlon 62X2 so.............
Really don't know why it does this, maybe it will show up tomorrow after I shut down tonight....fingers crossed....

I think i find something to solve your problem.
1/after you download the zip file of the circle dock ,try to use the wizard of the winrar to extract it to a specified folder.2start the circle dock .3open the task manager after starting and look for circle dock .exe.3click on it then click on folder location.4Drag the indicated icon onto the taskbar menu. And you are done .Everytime you start your computer click on the pin icon on the taskbar and you will find your circle with all its settings. It works just as a virtual keyboard. Is it helpful?
