Slacker radio service
« on: February 27, 2011, 12:58 PM »
One online radio source, www.slacker.com/, has added several new
Latin stations recently. In the US they are; Spanish, Spanish Pop,
Tropical, Regional Mexican, Reggaeton/Hip Hop, Rock En Espanol.

After signup in Canada, the list reverts to Spanish but there is a
work-around by googling to find stations playing, for example, some
Mexican music such as the 'Mazz' station on Slacker. Bookmark
the station, visit it, sign in through Slacker and Slacker will remember
your selection in the 'Recently Played' section.

I like some very specific music genres and I'm off to find them:
- Mexican Norteno influenced by Tex-Mex
- Early blues, only Delta/Louisiana style, with Texas influences
- Traditional Scottish country dance music
- Chamber and Baroque, especially harpsichord and organ
- New Zealand Maori influenced by gospel
- Traditional Hungarian Gypsy. Anyone know if there is a copy online
of "La petite salle blanche"?
Any tips about sources would be deeply appreciated.

Cheers
