I am  long time member of EventId. Net and I often am in a position where I am working in very remote locations "no Cell or Internet" and it would be very useful to have a offline version of the Event ID database that I could browse. I know one application that I use for Wikipedia that allows for me to download the entire database for portable use from my USB drive. Below is what I use for my mobile version of Wikipedia.

If the data is not available as a download, you can either use scraping to get at it, or try to find other resources with equivalent content...
