Just FYI, new opera 8.52 is out, now with support for gmail, no problems, looks like ie ;)

Opera is the best, and the preview of v9 is available. For better or worse, it incorporates certain shortcuts of Firefox to make switching easier.

It looks like there's an update, Opera 8.53 has been released.
But it looks like it's only a security update, directed at some languages.
