One thing I have noticed. If you're using the Quick Reply, then hit preview, then continue editing/writing in the modify message box for long periods of time, there's a very good chance you'll get a server reset notice. It has happened to me often enough that I now do a select all/copy before I posting unless I'm using my own text editor.

Seems to indicate there's a timing issue somewhere with the database or a script. Does a new message entry tombstone out if it says open too long before being committed?
