| | Author | hamradio | DescriptionThis application will allow you to use color charts in a Color Warlock format that can be loaded into the program and used to copy html hex color codes and other color types to use when coding. You can then share the palettes with your friends or online to anyone. You can use the built in Chart Builder to make the color chart files or by editing the ccf files in a text editor. I demand the biggest tease award back. Mine is, as of yet, still very secretive. On-topic: Looks like a nice app. There's tons of colourpickers out there, but everyone has a tiny bit different usecase so the variation is quite welcome imo.

Way further down the road maybe for the file formats as this is a pretty specialized program to output like it is now. As for that Zeta Color Editor the only one mine does not have is the first tab (Custom) which is a full color selector dialog. You can do the web (Non System Colors in mine), system (System Colors in mine), (Note: You can also show both at once if you pick All Known Colors.) as those are built into Color Warlock also. As far as schemes you can create your own Color Wizard palette file (.ccf) to use. Color Warlock just dont have the custom tab of the Zeta Color Editor. As for the desktop picker that may be next in line but only to copy a custom value not in the palette to clipboard.

@hamradio I know I can create CCF file but is it easy enough? I did not tested your app too long but I couldn't find a way to colours edit other than creating file in Notepad. It is not nice & easy.
With current state I need to get colours values from somewhere to write them down in such file. The best way would be to use some desktop picker or... other application with palettes handling.
I am not saying to copy Zeta but to provide some clickable editing solution.

Some advanced future feature request ideas to consider:
1. ability to select colors and say: "Add to custom chart.." 2. ability to PRINT a color chart. 3. ability to color pick a color from screen and show the closest NAMED colors in the known charts. 4. ability to filter/search for colors by name or hex in known charts.

I've been busy with Christmas and such and haven't had much time to play with it much more, but I will be adding a editor to it at some point for the ccf files and a few other things possibly.

Just updated with chart builder and mini help file. This is probably the last version before US New Year, so Happy New Year. Not as of version 1.0.0 builder 250. Possibly later feature of the chart builder though.

The custom chart builder is very fun to use. Suggestion: After saving a chart, it should refresh the Custom Charts menu so that it shows up in the list if you save it in the custom charts directory.

Your suggestion has been fixed and should be in build 264. In other news...I fixed a couple other small bugs, one that mouser found.
