does FARR have a paste text feature?
« on: December 09, 2010, 10:23 AM »
I use texter (or sometimes another ahk script) that allows me to past often used text into notepad.
I set it up so that I just type em and it will insert my email address, or time to insert the date and time
can you do that with FARR or a plugin?

yes indeed it does.

in fact if you type: paste
you will see some samples.

TIP: You can go look at how the "paste" alias works by right clicking on one of those results and choosing "Visit the source alias".  Then create your own paste menus in the MyAliases.alias section using the same technique.

Thanks thats good to know, I must have forgotten about it or maybe you didnt cover it in your youtube demo?
Now all FARR is missing is a good sticky note plugin. I know there is a note plugin but a sticky note you can have show on the desktop and even set a timer on it, now that would be something.

You could try Rainlendar with a plugin from this thread.
I know I really need to update the plugin and release it properly but it works for me.

this is a link to the youtube video where i saw the sticky note feature of Keybreeze being demonstrated. You have to wait till two thirds of the way through before he gets to the note part. Its pretty cool though with timed notes etc.
